"Okay, give me a sec." Emily said and got out of the car. She then went around to the passenger's side and opened the door for Tyler. "Alright, pass me the sundae and then let's get you out of the car." She said.

Tyler did as she said and tried to get himself out of the car. "Oh, the pain." he said dramatically as he moved gingerly.

"It's okay, you'll be resting soon enough." She told him, helping him out of the car. Once they had gotten into their apartment, Emily looked up at him. "Couch or bed?" She asked as the dogs came rushing over to greet them.

They made it to the bed and Tyler made his way onto it. "Oh the pain!" he said dramatically.

"Really?" She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at him. "All you did was get into bed."

"Sure, honey, sure." She shook her head before going out of their room to get him an ice pack. "You seemed to get up there okay." She continued once she got back and placed the ice pack on his knee.
