What a Baby

Tyler was in the trainer's room, waiting for Emily to come in. During break from training, he was just going over some stuff with Aleister, Ricochet and Leo in the ring. They were just messing around in the ring, you know, boys being boys. Somehow a tag match started to happen and when was running towards Aleister, Aleister was running towards him. They both went for a crossbody and when they fell, Aleister landed on Tyler's knee awkwardly. Of course, Tyler had some discomfort right away and he went to the trainer. They checked him out and luckily said it wasn't anything serious. He simply needed to ice it for the night and just take it easy the next day.

He was being sent home early, which is why he was waiting for Emily.

As soon as Emily had been told that Tyler was in the trainer's room, she had made a beeline to it, obviously worried about him. When she entered, she spotted Tyler and rushed over. "Baby, are you alright?" She asked bending down to kiss his cheek.

"My life is over." he said dramatically.

"It is not." said the trainer. "He needs to just put some ice and rest up for the remainder of the day. Tomorrow he can take it easy."

"Okay, thank you." She said to the trainer and then turned her attention to Tyler. "You think you can walk to the car on your own? Or do you need me to support you?" She asked him, rubbing his back.

"I think my knee is shattered, so I definitely need support."

"Oh come on, I'm sure it's not that bad." She told him, placing her arm around him so she could help him up.

"You know how the glass shatters at the beginning of Stone Cold's theme song?" he asked, lifting himself up from the medical bed. "That was my knee. Completely shattered and broken like glass." he sighed dramatically.

"Whatever you say, darling. We'll get some ice on it and it'll be as good as new." She said, placing a hand on his stomach to make sure he didn't fall over when they started walking.

"Yes dear. And I'll need some ice cream too. So I can obviously feel better as well."

"Any specific flavor?" She asked him as they began to walk to the car. "Also, I'll get you stitting in the car and then I'll get our gym bags."

"I could go for a banana split." he said. "Okay, sounds good."

"Then we'll get you a banana split for sure. Poor baby." She reached up to kiss his cheek. "How did it happen? All I got told was that you hurt your knee and were in the trainer's room."

"It's all Aleister's fault." he replied, sounding like...a child, ha. "We were in the ring with Trevor and Leo just messing around. Leo suggested we have a tag match, so I teamed up with Trevor. When Aleister and I were in the ring, I was running towards him and he was running toward me. We both went for a crossbody and crashed into each other. He landed on my knee all awkward and well, here I am. A broken man."

She winced at the end of his story. "Oh my love. You poor thing. That must've hurt so bad." She said sympathetically.

"So bad!" he whined. "He was so heavy!"

"Especially on your poor knee too. Is it swollen?" She asked as they walked outside to the car.

"A little. I saw my whole life flash, ha get it, flash..." he said, then cleared his throat continuing, '...flash before my eyes. It was terrible."

(I am headed to bed. The work week begins yet again in the morning, lol. Good night!)

She groaned at his pun. "That was horrible." She said flatly. "But I can imagine. I think I would've screamed if I saw it happen."

(Okay, good night El, sleep well! )

"I screamed when I saw him. He is scary already but to see him come down on me was scarier." he shuddered.

"I can imagine." She said and unlocked their car when they got close enough. She then pushed the passenger seat back so Tyler had enough room after opening the door and went to help him get in the car. "Come on babe, let's get you in here."

Tyler nodded and made his way into the car, being careful as he moved. "Oh the pain." he said.

"Just take it easy." Emily said soothingly. "I'll be back with our bags soon. Turn on the air con if you need it." She told him, bending down to kiss him sweetly and then went back inside to get their gym bags. Once she had gotten them, she placed them in the back of the car, closed the door and got into the driver's seat. "So I bumped into Amy on my way out. She said that I can have tomorrow off depending on how you are doing." She told Tyler.

"Well, I don't want you to miss a day off if I'm okay tomorrow. So hopefully I'll be fine." he said.

"I hope so too. We'll put some ice on your knee as soon as we get home. Also, do you want to be on the bed or couch?" She asked him as she started to drive home.

"I suppose I can be on the couch for most of the day." he said.
