Lending an Ear

“Weird in a good way I hope.” she chuckled. “You guys are so cute together.”

“Thank you.” She laughed. “And yes, in a very good way. He totally caught me off guard when he first started showing interest. The weird part was just getting back into the dating world in the beginning. I was like shit what is dating? How do you date?” She joked.

“Girl tell me about it.” she laughed. “I haven’t been on the dating scene in 10 years I don’t even know where to start. At least Jay showed interest in you first that’s half the work already done.” she laughed.

"And I thank the lord every day for that because if it had to be making the first move I would still be single."

“I just need a guy to fall into my lap like you. Teach me your ways.” she laughed.

"Oh girly puh-lease. Once the guys hear you are on the market again, I'm sure they will be lining up at your door."

“Girl you know more than anyone the minute they find out you’ve got a kid they freak out and are like, yeah no thanks.” she laughed.

"Those are cowards and little boys. I think that's the problem. You need a MAN. Someone who doesn't play games and won't cower at you having a kid. It's so weird when they get like that. It's not like you're proposing or want them to play stepdaddy."

“I need a man or a guy that has kids himself.” she laughed. “It’s just hard because I’m so busy with work meeting someone outside the business and making it work is near impossible. Which limits me with who to date and then the guys in the company I’m like, where would I even start.” she chuckled.

"That's true. Honestly for us, the wrestling business is just easier to find someone because we all get the schedule and how it is to be on the road and all that. I can help you look! We'll look at other companies, Japan, Mexico, indy scenes and all that." she said.

“Bev.” Lucy looked at her trying to back hold her laugh. “I’m no snob but indy guys? They are like twigs. They need to just hire a bunch of hot football players or something” Lucy laughed.

"Listen, I know you think Indy guys and think YUCK but there are a few hot ones out here. I'll just reallyyyyyyy have to do the research." she laughed. "Oh my gosh, imagine we do get some athletes? The options!"

“This is why I’m single I need to stop judging.” Lucy laughed. “They hired a few but they are like children… no thanks. Give us men not little boys.” Lucy laughed.

"I guess only time will tell." Beverly said. "Until then, it's just keeping an eye out and scooping out people."

“I mean having a 6 year old keeps me busy anyways. I just need to let what’s gonna happen, happen.” she chuckled.

"That too. Just keep focus on Kirra, work and your own self-care. It'll come to you when you least expect it."
