EVEning Meeting

It was a long day for the NXT crew. They were training all day and then they went over to Full Sail to do some things for NXT. Tyler had just finished going over a match with Tye Dillinger and he stepped out of the ring, grabbing his water bottle and then decided to sit in the seats and watch the other superstars in the ring. Everybody was just going about their business and doing what needed to be done. He saw that Eve was at Full Sail, helping out and visiting, but he didn't really get to talk to her. Well, he never really did speak to her much. She traveled with the main roster so she wasn't around much. He drank some of his water and gave her a small smile as she approached him. "Hi Eve, how are you?"

Eve had finished talking to Bayley and Carmella, giving them some advice after watching a promo the two had done together before she spotted Tyler. She knew how serious Emily was about him and she decided to take the opportunity to get to know him a little bit more. She walked over to him and returned his smile when he greeted her. "Hey, Tyler. I'm good, how about you? Mind if I take a seat?" She asked him.

"I'm good." he nodded. "Go right ahead."

"Great." She sat down next to him. "I thought that we could get to know each other a little more since my mini-me is distracted with some promo work." She joked about Emily.

He chuckled a bit. "Better hope it'll keep her distracted for a while then."

"Hopefully it does." She chuckled. "So. How's everything going with you?" She asked.

"Everything is going well. I'm just learning more and more each day at work and things are pretty good at home. I can't complain too much."

"Yeah? That's good, especially with things at home. You and Em seem pretty happy together." She said.

"I'd like to think so. I know I'm very happy with her, that's for sure."

"And she seems incredibly happy with you. I've never seen her this happy with someone before." She smiled. "You've got my approval, that's for sure." She chuckled.

"Well thanks, Eve. I definitely try."

"And you succeed. After everything she went through with her ex, I’m glad she found you." She nodded. "Has she... told you what happened with that relationship?" She asked him.

"I mean she told me about how he treated her and all that. I know how they broke up but I think that's about it. I've heard the gist of it I think."

"Okay, good." She nodded. "I just didn’t know how much she’s told you. I mean, there are things she hasn’t told me or our family."

"Right." he nodded. "I'm sure there are probably other things she hasn't told me and I'm okay with that. If she wants to share things with me, I'm all ears. If not, that's okay too. I just want her to be able to trust me fully, which I think she does."

"Wait, you think? From what I've seen she does trust you fully." She frowned slightly. "Did something happen to make you think that?"

"Well, she thought I was cheating on her a while ago." he told her. "I guess it was my fault though, I wasn't good at hiding things." he said, then wanted to clear things up. "I was texting our trip advisor and she was planning out our vacation for us. I wanted it to be a surprise for Em but she thought the worst." he shrugged.

"Let me guess, she saw the text messages?" She shook her head. "That's Emily though. If she sees something that involves her or someone she cares about and she doesn't know what it is, she assumes the worst and completely freaks out. She's been like that since she was around 12."

"Yes." he answered her first question. "I know she does but I don't want her to keep doing that. It's not good for her, it causes unnecessary stress."

"Oh I know. That's why our parents sent her to travel with me in the first place. They thought it might stop these freak outs. We all thought there was something going on at school that caused this to happen but she's never said what started them. It worries me." She admitted.

"It worries me too." he said. "Whenever she has those moments, I make sure I get to her side quickly. Maybe I should try to talk to her and get to the bottom of it. It could help if she talks about it."

(i'm falling asleep here so I'm off to bed. Night! )

"I think you should too. She trusts you more than anyone else in this world so I know she'll open up to you." She nodded. "Does it happen at the PC? Like Soraya lets me know how she's going training wise but she doesn't say anything else."

"Not too often I believe. I mean I know she told me when Ken was here she kind of freaked with the way he was yelling and all that. I'm not sure if there have been other instances."

"Yeah, she told me about that one." She said. "That’s good then. At least they’re not really happening at work. But they shouldn’t be happening at all. Talk to her and hopefully it’ll help her with this."

"I'll see what I can do. I just want to make sure she's okay."
