Peaceful Moment

"I'm sure that you don't have a bad side when it comes to that." She admitted.

"Well...if you say so." he chuckled. "I believe it then."

"I'm glad you do." She smiled.

He smiled back at her before finishing his water bottle and then looked down at the papers on the table. "What are those for?" he asked.

"Oh, just some lines to go through before the show." She answered, looking down at them. "Plus my own notes that I've taken since I started here. I like to read over everything before a show starts."

"That's the best way to do it anyway." he said. "Does it work for you?"

She nodded. "Oh for sure. It reminds me of preparing for an exam back in school." She joked.

"Ugh, those were horrible times." he laughed.

"Mmm sometimes it was, but I found it enjoyable. I really loved school so that's probably why I did like it so much." She admitted, giggling.

"Yeah, I was kind of the opposite." he said. "Certain classes I was into but most of the time I just spaced out and thought about eating and sleeping."

"Understandable." She said, resting her head on her hand. "School isn't for everyone."

"For sure but luckily for you, you loved it. I think it's nice to see that there are people out there who still do."

"Aw, thanks." She smiled.  "I studied teaching but I also wanted to do something in this business as well.  So I've got that as a back up, just in case."

"Smart decision. You always need a backup because anything can happen in this business."

"Exactly. I mean who knows if I'll be here in a year or something. Hopefully I am but you never know what the higher ups are thinking."

"So true.' he said. "One minute you're on top of the world and then next you're sitting on your couch at home."

"...I just got nervous thinking about that." She admitted, smiling sheepishly. "But it's something that could happen. I hope it doesn't happen to you or me."

"Same here. Just stay positive." he said. "I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. You're doing awesome at interviewing and in classes in general. I feel like you'll be called up to the main roster before most of us." he chuckled. "For me, I just hope I don't get any serious injuries and end up like some of the greats in the past that had to stop wrestling. That scares the crap out of me."

"Thank you, that means a lot." She smiled when he said the first part. "I hope that you don't. That would be terrifying to see anyone get injured. But I'm sure that you'll be fine and will be on the main roster in no time as well. You're so good in the ring!"

"Thanks." he said. "All that training is paying off then." he chuckled.

"It sure is." She nodded. "How long had you been wrestling before you got signed?" She asked.

"Five years." he told her.

"That's so cool!" She said. "How long have you known that you wanted to be a wrestler?"

"I guess when I was like 16 or so." he said as he thought about it. "Like I remember going online and seeing Gage mentioned on some wrestling sites and I watched some of his stuff and then I watched other matches and really got into it. From that moment on I knew it was what i wanted to do."

"That's really awesome. It's great that you and Gage helped you out a bit."
