Almost Too Good to be True

Torrie couldn't believe she'd finally done it. After all these years in the business and people doubting her...she'd done it. She won her first ever singles title in the WWE. She was the ECW Vixen's Champion. She shared her moment with Kelly and was able to keep her composure as she headed to the back, but once she made to the backstage area, she found a chair and sat down, clutching the title belt to her chest as she began to cry. It was really surreal and Torrie didn't know if she was dreaming or if this was real. She'd always come so close and never won but now...she'd done it. And dammit if this wasn't a great way to end 2012 for the Boise Belle, she didn't know what was.

Charlie approached his girlfriend an eyed her in confusion. "I was kind of expecting you to be celebrating." He admitted. "I didn't plan for crying. I thought you'd be overjoyed."

She looked up when she heard the voice of her boyfriend. "Oh god!" she said, wiping her tears as best she could. Now she looked like a total mess in front of him. "I'm happy...I'm so happy...but I'm shocked as hell too, baby!" she exclaimed with a big smile. "Oh god, I look like such a wreck." she laughed, calming down a little.

"You do not." Charlie assured her, stepping closer so he could kneel down in front of where she was sitting. "I'm just glad these are happy tears. I'm so proud of you."

She hugged him close. "Thank you, baby! I'm so happy." she calmed down a bit before pulling away.

He grinned at her. "You should be. That's quite an accomplishment."

"Thank you...and I'm so happy because...Kelly and I put on a great match...no one thought we could do it...but we did." she smiled, hiccupping a little bit.

"Wrong. I knew both of you had it in you." He told her. "And so did a few other people back here who are pretty proud of you too."

She smiled brightly. "I'm so excited about this title reign...I just...and you won too! I'm so proud of you, and I love you!" she smiled as she blurted it out at him. Everything was going so right for Torrie right now. Granted, they hadn't said that before to each other but Torrie was being honest.

Charlie didn't say anything for a moment, but the look in his eyes said it all. He cupped the back of his head and gave her a long, lingering kiss before pulling back to look at her again. "I love you too."

She froze, noticing he wasn't responding. Was saying it a mistake? Then he kissed her like that and she smiled into the kiss, hugging him tightly. "You scared me for a minute..." she admitted.

"Sorry." He chuckled. "You took me by surprise."

"Sorry." she blushed.

"No Baby, don't apologize, that was definitely a good kind of surprise!"

She grinned at that. "So...maybe we can go celebrate?"

"Absolutely. Did you want to go out to celebrate?"

"We can go out, we can stay in. I'm just on Cloud 9." she giggled. "Or..." she grinned mischievously. "We can go out and then stay in." she winked.

"Whatever you want, Baby, it's your night." He told her with a grin.

"All I know is I want to get out of here and go celebrate with my amazingly sexy champion boyfriend." she smiled.

"Well that's something I can definitely accommodate." He chuckled. "You want to shower and change before we leave or do you want to do that at the hotel?"

"I'll do that at the hotel...I don't really have anything suitable for going out and celebrating unless you count sweats and my pink Divas t-shirt." she laughed.
