Few days off

The last few months for me have been... interesting. I wouldn't say it's a 'good' interesting, either.

As some of you on here know, this past August I was hit by a car on the way to school. For those of you that didn't know, I was hit by a car on the way to school. lol. I was going to catch the bus, I had the right of way, and the car didn't stop and hit me in the crosswalk. That messed me up a lot mentally. Then I missed so much school due to my injuries that when I went back, I only had about three weeks left of classes and I was failing all of them. I had to make up so much work and then stay on top of current work that my brain was just fried and I was very stressed out. So if I seemed unpleasant or unfriendly to any of you during that time, I apologize.

Skipping to tonight, I was out with family and we were on the way home. We had the green light to drive, and some guy decided that he would run a red light. We couldn't stop in time enough, so there was a head-on collision. My mom's car is totaled. The guy only got a busted headlight. Go figure. Everyone is a little hurt, my mom hurt her face really bad on the airbag and my sternum is bruised (again) from the resistance of the seatbelt. All of the injuries I sustained in the accident that I had earlier in the year were exacerbated today. Plus, with flashbacks of my old accident, I'm back in the same bad mental place that I was in before.

So to spare you all from my Negative Nancy self, I'm going to take a few days to myself and recuperate. Which probably means I'll still be around to reply to things I have going on here but I won't super stalk the forum lol and I probably won't be very open to having many conversations. I just didn't want you to think "gosh, what a bitch" (although most of you probably already do ) or think that it was anything that you guys did, because it wasn't. Shutting down in a lot of ways is just how I prefer to deal with things. Thank you all for understanding and if I'm not around to say it Sunday, I hope you all have a very happy and safe New Years

I think... you need to move to the mountains, and become a mountain woman. Because no one can drive in the mountains. That way I know you are safe. <3 sorry to hear you are going through all of this hun, I hope you feel better mentally and physically, and your mom too! Don't worry about the forum, like everyone always tells me, it'll be here when you get back. Start working on that mountain plan, then you can practice your wilderness and survival skills. And learn to make home made make up and then become a billionaire by selling your make up line. Joking aside, I really hope you do begin to feel better.

Wow, I'm really sorry you had to go through all that Chantal. The stress alone must have been so suffocating. Take all the time you need, want. We will definitely be here when you're ready to come back. And, no one thinks you're a bitch to my knowledge lol I certainly don't! <3 I hope you and your mom recover from any physical and mental injuries soon.
