Hanging at FCW [AJ/Alexis]

AJ leaned over a barricade watching them set up the FCW ring, it was early before the show, he had only come to see some of the younger wrestlers wrestle but he also knew his sister had a match and seeing as Garrett had already settled himself on Raw, he wanted to make sure Alexis was okay on ECW. He stared watching the crew members before hearing the familiar voice behind him.

"Thank God you're here," Alexis said, running a hand though her hair.

He looks over at her furrowing his brow, "what's up with you?" He said noticing her mannerisms.

"I'm freaking out," Alexis muttered.

He chuckled, "Over what?"

"Everything," Alexis said.

AJ chuckles, "Not being very clear there."

"This....match I'm supposed to have," Alexis said.

"You will have. Alexis, you've wrestled before, I've seen you wrestle. If WWE already gave you a contract that means they see something in you."

"But you know how nervous I can get!" Alexis whined.

"Yeah, well we all get nervous, it's how we handle ourselves. You go out to that ring nervous you'll do more harm than good."

Alexis nodded and took a deep breath.

"You're right, you're right," Alexis said.

"Besides, It's not like you have any older brother to live up to." He said with a smile.

Alexis cracked a smile.

"It's not like any of my family is that great anyway," she jokingly replied.

"Yeah Garrett is only United States champion, no big deal."

"No big deal at all," Alexis said.

"So as far as I'm concerned, I don't think you have anything to prove except to yourself."

"You sure about that?" Alexis said. "My biggest fear is letting you down."

"Letting me down? Lexi, I don't compare you to anyone or have a high level for you to reach for. I want you to be you. I don't expect you to wrestle the same as me or be the same as me."

"But you've always had so much faith in me," Alexis said.

'No matter what happens in that ring," He points gently at the ring being cleaned by the crew, "I will never not have faith in you."

"Never?" Alexis asked.

"Never."

Alexis smiled a little.

"Alexis, you will do fine, don't put pressure on yourself because you are afraid of what I'll think."
