"yea i need to buy more sugar though. i ran out of it this morning."

"It's weird I can grill meat but I can cook." AJ says, shaking her head.

"that is weird. i can't cook meat on the grill but i can bake cookies though. i always burn the hamburgers and cheeseburgers everytime we have a barq."

"That is weird, but I guess it's because Shad taught me how to do it."

"yea lucky you. ric tried to teach me to grill which wasn't a good idea. it's a good thing i have a backyard that trees that are far away."

AJ laughs. "I tried cooking once, burnt the chicken, dropped the potatoes, and slipped on them. Lacy was there for the whole fiasco."

"wow. i think you should stick to takeout and leave other people to the cooking. im having a christmas party a week before christmas so im going to have plenty of food."

AJ laughs. "You're starting to sound like Lacy and sure I would love to come."

"cool. im going to try to have enough food for everyone. i don't know how many people will show up though since it's going to be close to the holidays."

"You have any other plans besides your Christmas party?"

"not sure. i might go somewhere warm for christmas since my mom and i don't want to have family for christmas this year."

"California is pretty nice during the holidays, so is Hawaii."

"oh i know but i like it here when there is snow on the ground. i love playing in the snow."

"You can still stay in North Carolina and not spend the holidays with your family."

"it's going to be hard to when they know where we live. im just thankful it takes them a half hour just to get our house with snow it's even worse. i hate driving in snow."
